I'm a fortysomething acafan with broad interests in media culture. I've been remotely, and sometimes quite actively, involved in Doctor Who and related fandoms for 25 years. I think most of the time I'm more interested in the idea of fandom than in actual fandoms per se, but I still love a good vid, bit of fic, or (especially) meta from time to time.
